About the Role
We are looking for a Research Analyst, that will be part of a new business unit with a vision to create a comprehensive and accessible platform that helps our users find, understand, and track companies that matter to them.
You will join an exciting new team with an ambitious mandate where you will get start-up experience within an established business & brand.
What you will do:
- Research and analyse private companies through their financials & public newsflow.
- Research, identify & connect with industry specialists to draw sector/industry and company knowledge.
- Facilitate and schedule discussions with industry experts.
- Generate unique industry and company insights.
- Upload ready and clean data into our proprietary data base.
- Contribute to the automation and scaling of the data collection process.
- Contribute to producing company snapshots from the interviews with the industry experts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Education or work experience directly related to commercial due diligence process would be a plus example – Investment Banking, Consulting and Business Journalism.
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills with Proven experience in communicating effectively and building relationships quickly over the phone
- Be passionate about building a new product and excited by the unknown
- Have demonstrable experience in researching and summarising the content
- Be able to confidently and professionally interact with Senior industry executives
- Have meaningful experience in having telephone conversations with a large number of individuals and lead these conversations with ease
- Have a strong entrepreneurial drive
- Be a results-driven team contributor who can effectively manage their time while maintaining a positive and “can-do” attitude
- Be able to thrive in hybrid remote and in-office environments
- Proficient in English
