Expert in Environmental science and ecology with particular experience in natural environment management, terrestrial natural habitats and flora species

ENVECO S.A., a leading company in providing environmental consulting services, with a strong national and international presence in the sectors of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Studies, Ecological (and appropriate assessment) Stu dies, Environmental Management and Technology, Environmental and Ecological monitoring, is currently seeking to hire a full time Expert in Environmental science and ecology with particular experience in natural environment management, terrestrial natural habitats and flora species.

Main Responsibilities:
 Drafting the sections of the environmental studies related to natural vegetation, habitats and flora species.
 To organize and implement fieldwork campaigns related to the selection of data on natural ecosystems.
 To organize and implement Environmental Impact Assessment Studies, Appropriate Impact Assessment Studies, Specific Environmental Studies and Manage ment Plans for protected areas, and design and implement monitoring projects related to the natural environment.
 To participate in multidisciplinary scientific teams and every day hands-on involvement in Environmental Studies.
 Organizes and implements work to ensure all tasks are completed on time.

Requirements:
 Degree in Biology, Forestry, Environmental Science or other relevant scientific sector related to environmental science and management, ecology, terrestrial habitats and flora species.
 At least M.Sc. degree or related experience in the above mentioned scientific sectors are preferable.
 Working experience in natural vegetation, habitats and flora species.
 Excellent knowledge of the English language (speaking, reading and writing).
 Excellent knowledge of the Greek Language.
 Driving license and capability to drive in unpaved roads and generally off-road.
 Knowledge of the Greek environmental legislation is required.
 Experience in habitat mapping by using GIS and/or AUTOCAD tools and database management programmes is preferable.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 Excellent knowledge of the main Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel).
 Capability of participating in scientific teams and carrying out fieldwork in natural ecosystems in Greece or abroad.
 Military services, if needed, have already been implemented.
