Junior System Engineer

As our new Junior System Engineer, you will undertake tasks, such as:

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of systems and services
• Participate in the design, implementation, and support of IT infrastructure
• Configure storage, servers, fabric switches and systems, Microsoft servers (Cluster Services, File Services, Active directory Services, Certificate Authority services), Virtual Infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V) and backup systems
• Deploy new operating systems and features, middle ware applications as well as provide enhancements to existing applications and software
• Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.

To be a successful candidate, your professional profile should match the following criteria:

• University/College Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or relevant technology field
• A proven record of 1-2 years of IT-related experience
• Good experience in development, systems’ implementation and applications
• Knowledge of OS (LINUX, AIX, Kubernetes)
• Experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices
• Experience in ticketing systems (Jira and/or OTRS) will be considered a plus
• You have an excellent command of the Greek & English language, both written and spoken
• Completed military obligations for male candidates
