About the role

We are seeking a talented internal Creative Designer to join our innovation agency. As a Creative Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating the brand and visual identity for our innovation challenges and in the creation, adaptation, production and repurposing of graphic/ creative assets in line with briefs by the open innovation team.

The ideal candidate will bring solid experience, elevated design aesthetic, and positive energy to an already close-knit team of successful professionals.You will collaborate closely with our open innovation team to develop compelling and visually captivating designs that align with our clients’ objectives and programs scope. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong artistic skills, business understanding and the ability to translate complex ideas into visually engaging designs.

Responsibilities

Brand and Visual Identity Development:

• Collaborate with the innovation team to understand the objectives and target audience for each innovation challenge.
• Develop creative concepts and design strategies for the brand and visual identity of each challenge.
• Create logos, typography, color palettes, and other visual elements that effectively represent the essence and purpose of each challenge.
• Ensure consistency in brand and visual identity across all challenge materials and platforms.
• Ensure successful delivery of each challenge, follow client’s brief and brand guidelines and deliver within agreed deadlines.

Design and Production:

• Produce high-quality graphic designs for various deliverables, including digital and print materials, event’s branding, campaigns, presentations, social media assets, and promotional items.
• Create visually appealing layouts that enhance the user experience and effectively communicate key messages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, ensuring a seamless balance between creativity and functionality.

Creative Problem Solving:

• Understand and address the unique design challenges associated with innovation projects.
• Develop innovative solutions that effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts.
• Stay updated on design trends and emerging technologies to bring fresh and cutting-edge ideas to the table.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design assets.
• Maintain organized files and documentation, including version control and asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, including branding, visual identity, and print/digital materials.
• Experience working in a creative or advertising agency or fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Prior experience in digital & innovation projects will be consider a strong asset.
• Proficient in design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign).
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A strong creative mindset and a good eye for design aesthetics.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Being open to productive discussions and team brainstorming sessions.
• Ability to work as a team member and to collaborate effectively towards a common goal is essential.
